Heat pipes are heat exchangers with very low thermal resistance. They are used to manage the rapid transfer of heat under a partial vacuum between two solid interfaces.
Available in a flat or round construction with various wick structures which enhance performance.
Heat pipes are commonly used where heat sinks have limited capacity to disperse heat and in embedded applications.
