Kevin Simpson, Technical Director at European Thermodynamics presented at the Energy Harvesting 2015 event on the 19th March.
The title of the presentation was: 'Thermoelectric energy harvester with integrated, robust and autonomous sensing system for harsh and hazardous environments'. The event was completely sold out and Kevin presented to a packed room.
Our Marketing Manager, Sarah Challis also held a stand at the event with a demonstration of the new Adaptive energy harvesting wireless sensor system, more details here.
The day was a great platform for disseminating energy-harvesting advances and applications in the UK. We heard presentations from well-respected speakers in academia and industry, topics included thermoelectric, electromagnetic, piezoelectric, non-linear, broadband, MEMS, indoor light and textile based energy harvesting as well as energy management and RF power transfer.
