05.10.2015
Read about our work with the University of Leicester on an initiative which combined the space and nuclear industries to create new technologies for space exploration, the wider economy and new markets.
The project was part of a programme to eliminate some of the barriers currently faced in space exploration such as innovations in power generation, robotics, autonomous vehicles and advanced instrumentation.
European Thermodynamics, together with the University of Leicester, Astrium Ltd, Fraunhofer IPM Germany and Queen Mary University of London developed a prototype radioisotope thermoelectric generator.
