SYNTECS: New Project with Fraunhofer IWS

European Thermodynamics are pleased to announce an exciting new project called SYNTECS led by Fraunhofer IWS.
The project SYNTECS (Sustainably and digitally driven hierarchical laser texturing for Complex Surfaces) brings together a consortium of industry leaders and academic and research organisations that are at the forefront of laser-based processing. It is designed to tackle the multiple challenges experience with current chemical and mechanical surface treatments.
European Thermodynamics will support with the exploration of technology for developing heat pipes with the overall aim of the SYNTECS project resulting in development and demonstration of a digital and green laser texturing approach to generating complex multifunctional surfaces.
Supported by funding through the European Union's Horizon Europe Framework Programme for research and innovation and Innovate UK's Horizon Europe Guarantee.
