+veCool, developed by European Thermodynamics based in the UK, draws upon our specialist expertise in thermoelectric assemblies, devices, materials, and electronic control development. This expertise has positioned us effectively to create an active system around our core technology. While our prior experience in constructing complete systems was limited, a pivotal project enabled us to advance into higher-level integration, culminating in the establishment of a toolbox and platform for the swift development of systems. Following the project’s completion in November 2020, we embarked on further self-funded efforts, leading to the launch of our inaugural product in February 2021, poised for comprehensive testing and scaling.

We owe a debt of gratitude to Innovate UK for their support of this project, as they awarded us through the Business-led Innovation Response to COVID-19 Interruption, under the Feasibility Studies program. Without their support, none of this work could have been accomplished within the specified timeframe, nor would we have been able to venture into higher-value product areas, thereby expanding our consultancy capabilities.
